Design e subculturas
Palavras-chave It is not possible to approach design and its perspectives to innovate independently of the cultural context, so the purpose of this article is to understand the relations between design, subculture and consumption. It was supported by a bibliographical review and structured in parts: the design as responsible for transferring and tangibilizing cultural meanings; subcultures as creators of such meanings; the domestic environment as a place of identity construction and a changing cultural category. The analysis did not allow the establishment of a cause and effect relationship, but allowed to identify relevant aspects to the triad "design, subcultures, innovation in the domestic environment".
