Estratégias de comunicação pública da ciência na Copa do Mundo de 2014:A preparação para o pontapé inicial dos jogos
Palavras-chave This paper aims to reflect on the public communication of science through narrative, examining the demonstration of the exoskeleton BRA-Santos Dumont I at the opening ceremony of the 2014 World Cup. Through the bridge between science and communication, following Ricoeur’s (2011) perspective of intercultural translation, the work seeks to understand strategies adopted by Brazilian neuroscientist Miguel Nicolelis to disseminate this demonstration on his Facebook page. In this sense, the paper analyzies the scientist’s posts from April 4 to June 12. The methodology is based on categories derived mainly from the meanings that emerge in the texts, and on issues discussed in the theoretical review.
